3.4 stars
Let me start off by saying that 3.5 stars is not a bad rating, I really enjoyed this book, but didn't love it as much. This book was really entertaining. And with its fast-paced action scenes and super hot romance, it was very close to get 4 stars. I fell in love with author's writing style. The writing of the book was definitely a treat for me, because every scene was crafted beautifully, and being a sucker for love stories, I fell in love with the scenes between Kabir and Qiara This book was also a very quick read, and I finished it in only few hours.

The story revolves around two main characters, Kabir and Qiara, who are once again brought together by a situation neither of them would have imagined. Qiara's life turns upside down since the moment she arrives in Delhi. She witnesses a murder, and after that there's only running from goons, politicians, and trying to save herself and the organisation she's working with.

"Your entire sense of self-worth is predicated upon your belief that you matter, that you matter to the universe. But you don't. Because we are the ants."

Wow. I came across this book few days ago and started reading it as soon as I was able to get the copy of this book. There are some books that makes me want to read it right away because I know that I am going to like it, and this is definitely one of them. This book affected me very strongly and left me thinking a lot about life and the choices we make. I also love the simple yet beautiful cover of this book.Well, I love everything about this book!

Hey. all! Here's a mini review of Captive Prince.
I've been reading this book for months. Not because it's slow, but I just never got a chance to continue. But I started it few days ago, and you know what? I finished it in only two days! It's that good. I don't usually read M/M, in fact this is the first book I have read in that genre. I had read some reviews before starting it, and I had gotten the rough idea that this book was mainly focused on romance, and even gave off the vibe that it was slightly erotica. Which it isn't. And it doesn't even have romance. Yes, there are a lot of explicit scenes like violence and rape, but they all were used for building up the plot. There are many historical fictions which includes such scenes, so it wasn't really shocking, not for me at least. But if the above things makes you uncomfortable, then this book might not be for you.

Review: Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I just finished this book, and to say that this book broke my heart would be an understatement. After waiting for what felt like forever, I finally read this book and now I'm at a loss for words.
If I forget the only thing that I still don't want to accept, I couldn't be happier with how the story turned out.

And my ships! Oh god, I've never been happier and sad at the same time. At one moment there'd be a swoon worthy scene between the characters, and right after that there will be something to ruin it. Kaz and Inej's scenes went from 0% chemistry to sizzling hot romance! And in any other book, I wouldn't even consider those scenes very romantic, but Kaz Brekker? He stole my heart with those gestures, which is exactly what Dirthyhands does in this entire book. Everything between them was so intense, and the sexual tension, I can't even. *inserts million heart emojis* And how could you not love him when he says things like these:

“I would have come for you. And if I couldn't walk, I'd crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we'd fight our way out together-knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that's what we do. We never stop fighting.”
